Do You Need a Visa to Travel Europe as an Australian or New Zealand Student?
The quick answer is no. If you are an Aussie or Kiwi interested in travelling Europe, you get 90 days to explore out of every 180 days wishing the Schengen Zone. But, as of 2025, you will need to in advance before arrival. The ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is simply a new pre-entry authorization for security, but it’s pretty straightforward and easy to do. The start date has changed constantly, and was said to kick off in mid-2025. Some places say sometime in 2026, but has no official date yet.
How Much Does the ETIAS Cost?
